(2) Chapel Organ: Located in the balcony of the historic chapel is a historic pipe organ, a 1922 Austin Opus 1041. The two manual organ provided music to the community for over 85 before falling silent because of its need of
repairs. The interior leather of the instruments and the inside workings of the console have to be completely replaced.
A cost estimate from Patrick J. Murphy, Stowe, PA, places the repairs in excess of $50,000. In repairing the organ,
it must be all or nothing, because the organ will still be inoperable if only partially repaired. Individual contributions
in any amount are needed to fund this project.
